""Mia Edsall writes songs that are full of emotion without being sappy, which is an impressive feat. Her songs combine melancholy with a sense of rejuvenation and hope. Her vocals perfectly reflect the words, and we listeners know these songs are about real, complex feelings that we have known ourselves."

"What a privilege to hear your album. I’ve listened to it three times today. "Anna’s song" has me weeping in this new version. What a moving tribute in music, voice and lyrics. "Deadly Shine" is a revelation now that you have turned the mirror on yourself." Fear" gets me all a boogie. "End Times" brings up so much for me.... “Dulcet Moon” is one of my absolute favorites…brings up love and yearning. Additionally, "Cluck Ole Hen" is a grand nod to your roots where I believe you belong.
All in all…a devastating and honest glimpse into a beautiful woman’s soul.”
